Taylor Swift had a heartwarming moment with a young fan at her concert on Saturday during her The Eras Tour at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The 33-year-old singer said her “brain was just broken” when she invited the young female fan on stage with her, despite there being no safe entrance.
The memorable moment between the Grammy winner and the young fan began during her performance of track 22, when the fan was brought to the front of the stage catwalk, as captured in a social media clip from an attending fan.
The Shake It Off singer radiantly gave the young fan the hat she wore during her performance at the second of three Windy City concerts.
She gestured for the fan to come on stage, but backed off and returned to the dancers’ kickline.

While getting ready to perform her song All Too Well, Swift explained to concertgoers the chain of events that led her to make the offer before realizing it wasn’t safe.
“I just felt like… she’s so cute I wanted to like her, I was like, ‘I’m just going to put her on stage, I’m just going to hug her and put her on stage,'” Swift said . “And then I remembered we don’t have a safe way to get her off stage.”
Swift said her “brain went completely blank” during the exchange, as she tried to get the young fan involved in her concert.
“I was like, ‘You’re so sweet and cute, come on stage,'” she said. ‘She was confused. I was confused.
“So if anyone else was confused, it was because that kid was so cute I was trying to make her part of the show… I had no control over it.”
Swift told the audience she thought they were all “cute,” adding, “I feel that way for a lot of you on the show.”
