Taylor Swift ‘has an AWKWARD relationship’ with Travis Kelce’s brother Jason and wife Kylie – with the singer ‘upset’ at her November comment about disliking the spotlight

Taylor Swift’s introduction to the Kelce family didn’t go entirely smoothly, according to a new report.

Travis’s brother Jason and his wife Kylie apparently haven’t made the singer feel too welcome and media comments about their relationship have upset Swift. according to Life and Style magazine.

In November, before Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles team played the Chiefs in Kansas City, Kylie Kelce gave an interview in which she said the spotlight “isn’t exactly my thing” and that she prefers to watch games from the stands rather than in the fancy suits from where she plays. Swift cheers on the Chiefs.

Swift has met Kelce’s parents — mom Donna and dad Ed — but so far there are no photos of her meeting Jason, who Travis is very close to, or Kylie.

Life and Style quoted a source as saying, “Taylor hasn’t had the best reception from Jason and his wife.”

Kylie’s quotes about the spotlight particularly irked Swift, with the source adding, “Taylor took that personally and it’s been very awkward ever since.”

Jason has seen his profile rise due to his close bond with Travis – the two co-host the hugely successful New Heights podcast – but older brother Kelce tends to be more reserved than Travis.

“Taylor understands it can be exhausting, but she can’t help it when everything she does becomes headlines,” the source told Life and Style.

Jason often questions Travis about his personal life on their podcast, but he always seems very supportive of his relationship with Swift.

And as for Kylie, she publicly rejected suggestions that her ‘spotlight’ comments were intended as criticism of Taylor.

In a follow-up post on TikTok, Kylie criticized a headline that suggested she was being critical, saying, “Go watch that video. I said drawing attention to me isn’t my thing. I did not say that. That seems far-fetched to me. You are achieving!’.

And shortly after, she used a Taylor Swift song on a TikTok video about her four-year-old daughter Wyatt.

“If you’re trying to make a headline out of this, you better suggest better audio… because there isn’t any,” said Kylie, who paid tribute to Swift in a heartfelt post about her child.

Swift was scheduled to attend the Eagles-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in November, but was forced to move a tour date in Brazil to the date of the game, with her first show postponed due to extreme heat.

She reportedly planned to take her parents to the game to meet Donna and Ed, and it would have been a natural opportunity for her to meet Jason and Kylie as well.
