Taylor Swift goes against Brittany Mahomes by backing Kamala Harris for President… after wife of Chiefs QB endorsed Donald Trump – and Caitlin Clark reacts to singer’s post

Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president, just days after her friend Brittany Mahomes — the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — appeared to support Donald Trump.

Caitlin Clark was among those who appreciated the shocking message from Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after Tuesday’s presidential debate.

Patrick Mahomes and Kelce are good friends and the pairs were in the US Open men’s singles final together on Sunday.

Later they went on a double date in New York, not long after Brittany made headlines after liking several social media posts expressing her support for Trump.

More than 2.5 million people had liked Swift’s Instagram post in just over half an hour, when the pop star confirmed: ‘“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.”

She explained that the vice president “fights for rights and causes that I think need a warrior who can defend them.”

Swift added: ‘I think she’s a steady, talented leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we’re led by calm and not chaos.

“I was so encouraged and impressed by her choice of running mate (Walz), who has been advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s right to their own bodies for decades. I did my research and made my choice.”
