Taylor Swift's private jet has flown out of Kansas City and she's on her way back to New York, just a day before her 34th birthday.
She returns to New York on Tuesday evening for the TIME Person of the Year gala, after being announced as the winner of the honor last week.
Tuesday's event is described by TIME as: “An exclusive, invitation-only evening including cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and on-stage conversations with select designees for an end-of-year celebration.”
It comes amid reports that boyfriend Travis Kelce has planned a surprise party for her on December 13.
She had been in Kansas City on Sunday to cheer him on in the NFL, but his Chiefs team lost to the Buffalo Bills in heartbreaking circumstances.

Tuesday is Kelce's day off, so there's nothing stopping the NFL star from joining his girlfriend.
However, he will have to be back in Kansas City for training on Wednesday, with the Chiefs desperate to win after back-to-back defeats in the NFL.
The happy couple were pictured at an afterparty after the Bills loss, with a smitten Swift kissing Kelce on the cheek.
