Fans of Taylor Swift are convinced she revealed the name of her close friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ fourth child in a verse of her song, You’re On Your Own, Kid.

Ahead of the birth of the couple’s latest addition, expected in February or March 2023, Twitter users with a specific name were outraged at the idea that the 32-year-old pop star had made the unborn baby’s nickname public.

While the theory remains unconfirmed, Swifties believe they have decoded an Easter egg that the Deadpool actor, 45, and his wife, 35, are planning to name their little one Daisy May.

The name was taken from Swift’s lyrics: ‘I see the great escape, so long, Daisy May / I pick the petals, he loves me not / Something different bloomed, writing in my room / I play my songs in the parking.’

This comes two years after she shared the name of Lively and Reynolds’ daughter in her emotional song, Betty.

On the same album, Folklore, the 11-time Grammy winner also listed the names of the couple’s other children, James, seven, and Inez, six, in the hit song.

At the time, she confirmed that she named “all the characters in this story after” her “friend’s” children.

In addition, Swift gave fans a deeper insight into the meaning behind her song, which is told from a male perspective about a teenager trying to apologize to Betty, whom he cheated on.

“He actually lost the love of his life and doesn’t understand how to get it back. I think we all have these situations in our lives where we learn to really, really apologize for the first time,” the Cardigan singer explained.

She added: “Everyone makes mistakes, everyone messes up sometimes.”

“This is a song I wrote from the perspective of a 17-year-old boy. And I’ve always loved that in music you can kind of get an identity and sing from other people’s perspectives, and that’s what I did in this one,” the hitmaker added.

Previously, Swift tasted her boyfriend’s oldest on her single, Gorgeous, in 2017.

While accepting her third annual win album for Folklore at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021, Swift rechecked her boyfriend’s kids.

“I want to thank James, Inez and Betty and their parents, who are the second and third people I play on every new song I write,” she said at the time.
