The song, which is being sold exclusively at Taylor’s concerts in New Jersey this weekend, has absolutely convinced her fans that she’s singing about former flame Joe Alwyn, 32.
Confess as ever, the 12-time Grammy winner, 33 — who is currently being romanced by Matt Healey — details the end of her relationship, bemoans whether or not the plug was pulled and hints at what brought the relationship to an end.
Taylor set up the waterworks with her bridge, singing, “I wouldn’t marry me either/ A pathological folk-pleaser/ Who only wanted you to see her.”

At the start of her record-breaking Eras tour last month in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor declared to 70,000 fans that she loves “teaching men how to apologize.”
“So kind of a recurring theme in my music is that I like explaining to men how to apologize. I just love it,” the iconic singer said, per images posted Twitter.
