Taylor Swift fans spot the similarities between her relationship with Travis Kelce and a famed movie power couple after their on-field PDA celebration: ‘This is so iconic’

Taylor Swift’s fans compared her relationship with Travis Kelce to an iconic movie power couple after their PDA party on the court on Sunday.

The 34-year-old singer joined her American footballer boyfriend, also 34, on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 to advance to the Super Bowl.

And Taylor’s fans have since compared their relationship to Disney’s iconic High School Musical couple Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens).

Completely in awe of the couple, fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to highlight the comparison.

One wrote: ‘This honestly feels like the plot of a 2004-style rom-com.’

Cameras captured part of Travis’ sweet conversation with girlfriend Taylor after his match.

The Chiefs tight end was shown saying, “What’s up, honey? Where were you?’ when Swift joined him on the field.

Another video showed Swift and Kelce hugging again, and before they kissed, he said, “How about that one?”

Other footage from the celebration showed Swift whispering in Kelce’s ear, though it’s unclear what she said during that conversation.

Swift wore her hair in her Reputation-era curls, while also donning a cherry red Guest in Residence sweater.

During the game, she was spotted in one of the luxury suites, where she played the game with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Also in the suite were Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne as they cheered on the Chiefs and Kelce, who caught 11 passes for 116 yards against the Ravens.

After the game, when the Chiefs punched their ticket to Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11, Swift was seen walking onto the field with Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed.

She eventually made her way to Travis as they hugged several times on the field and also shared a few kisses.

The pop star will be sure to be present in the luxury suites of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of Super Bowl LVIII.

However, the star may be quite tired as she is due to perform the last of three shows at Japan’s famous Tokyo Dome a day earlier.

Taylor kicks off the next international leg of The Eras tour with four consecutive shows from February 7 to 10.

She will have almost two weeks off after the four shows in Tokyo to possibly celebrate a Super Bowl win, pitting the AFC champion Chiefs against the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers.

Taylor won’t hit the road again until February 23, where she will perform four shows at Australia’s Accor Stadium.

The tour will keep her on the road internationally for most of the year, with small breaks in between, ending on December 6 and 8 at BC Place in Vancouver.

The tour kicked off last March and made history by becoming the first tour ever to gross over $1 billion from 60 shows in 2023.
