Donald Trump’s vice presidential nominee JD Vance has sparked anger among Taylor Swift fans after a clip surfaced of him criticizing “childless cat ladies,” referring to Kamala Harris.

Trump’s 39-year-old running mate drew the ire of the Swifties after a 2021 video circulated online in which he questioned the mindset of women who don’t have children and instead have cats.

The resurfaced footage shows Vance criticizing childless women like Kamala Harris during a conversation with Tucker Carlson on Fox News.

He argued that women without children have no “direct stake” in America’s future, adding that these women are “unhappy with their own lives and the choices they’ve made, so they want to make the rest of the country unhappy, too.”

And while the Republican vice presidential nominee called it a “basic fact,” his words have angered Swift’s fans, who urged him to calm down before he has to deal with the “wrath” of a “childless cat lady who still hasn’t endorsed a single presidential candidate.”

In the clip, Vance criticized the idea of ​​the country falling into the hands of childless women.

He said, ‘I’m saying that in this country we’re basically governed by the Democrats and a bunch of childless cat ladies who are unhappy with their own lives and the choices they’ve made, and who want to make the rest of the country unhappy too.

“It’s just a basic fact. You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people who have no children. How does it make sense that we’ve handed our country over to people who have no interest in it?”

His “cruel” and “alienating” claims recently caught the attention of Taylor’s fans as they reminded Trump’s running mate just how much power the 34-year-old, who is the proud owner of three cats, wields.

The singer endorsed President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020, but has not endorsed any candidates this election.
