Taylor Swift fans pays $700 for a ticket to her Eras Tour concert and has no view – before missing most of the show looking for new seats

An unhappy Taylor Swift fan who paid an eye-watering sum for tickets to the pop star’s Melbourne show earlier this month was left furious when she realized she had no view of the stage.

The sad Swiftie revealed that she paid almost $700 for the tickets only because her view was obstructed by a huge ‘tower’.

The woman said other attendees who traveled from Sydney were left in tears after paying the same amount for good seats and plane tickets to travel interstate.

She said the group desperately tried to get help but kept being “passed off” to other staff members during the concert.

After missing the first few songs of the show, fans eventually managed to track down a supervisor and were given a handful of tickets for seats on the other side of the stadium.

“We missed more of the concert as we ran to the new seats, and while we made the best of it, it definitely impacted our experience,” she said.

The woman was also asked to hand out the extra tickets to the other affected fans, instead of to staff members.

Another fan paid $800 for VIP tickets only to have her view blocked by a crew and a sound mixing tent.

Via TikTok, the fan shared a video of the view from her seats in section M20 between rows G, H and I of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

“POV: You pay $800 per ticket for VIP Taylor Swift tickets and you can’t see the stage,” she captioned the video.

Her caption read: “Ticktek, please explain.”

The woman, who attended the concert with her sister, commented that she was later moved and got a better view of the stage.

“They moved us to another restricted area, but luckily better than our original view!” she wrote.

“It took an hour to talk to five different supervisors, but we could see the stage and that was all that mattered.

“I didn’t think paying for VIP would give us limited seating.”

The global superstar is currently in the middle of her stint at the National Stadium in Singapore.
