Taylor Swift fans go wild over adorable ‘1989’ Easter Egg on Travis Kelce’s cap in clip of Chiefs star playing air guitar to popstar girlfriend’s hit ‘Bad Blood’ on the golf course
Travis Kelce sent Taylor Swift fans wild with an adorable subtle nod to his pop star girlfriend while golfing on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star is known as an avid golfer and played a round with former NBA star Chandler Parsons this week.
Parsons shared a clip of Kelce lining up a shot as Swift’s song “Bad Blood” played in the background, but that wasn’t the only reference to the tight end’s superstar girlfriend on the fairways.
The Super Bowl winner kept the singer close as he took to the track with a sweet nod to her musical success in his attire.
Kelce, appropriately dressed for the clubhouse in a striped polo shirt and chinos, wore a Sherwood Country Club cap with not one, but two Swift Easter eggs.

Eagle-eyed Swifties quickly noticed that Kelce’s hat contained the date “1989” — the year both he and the singer were born and the title of her fifth album.
The date is also the year the golf course at Sherwood Country Club, located in Thousand Oaks, California, was founded.
The course has hosted several professional tournaments, including Greg Norman’s former ‘Shark Shootout’ event, the first of which was ironically also held in 1989 at Sherwood Country Club.
The Sherwood Country Club badge, stitched onto the front of the cap, also features an archer, nodding to the course’s history with the Robin Hood movies filmed on the property in the 1920s.
But many fans were quick to point out that in this case it could be interpreted as a nod to Swift’s song “The Archer” from her record “Lover” and Kelce’s previous touchdown celebration.
The Easter eggs sent Swifties wild on social media as they praised the NFL icon for being a “1989 stan.”
One fan wrote: ‘His hat says 1989 AND has an archer on it. You can’t make this up!’

“You can take Killatrav out of 1989, but you can’t take 1989 out of this man,” wrote another.
“Bad blood while playing golf and wearing a hat that says 1989. slay,” one person gushed about the tight end.
“Never topped Stan’s 1989 accusations,” one chimed in, while others added, “You’re kidding, he’s such a 1989 lover,” and “He’s such a 1989 girl.”
Parsons belts out “Bad Blood” in what appeared to be a ploy to distract the Chiefs star – but Parsons soon learned that Swift doesn’t just inspire sporting success on the football field for Kelce.
Kelce appeared to hit an approach shot on the green that he was happy with and ran toward the camera using his iron as an air guitar and mouthed the words “Bad Blood” in celebration.

“@KillaTrav can’t be rattled,” Parsons captioned the clip.
Last week, Kelce and Swift went to the Bahamas in the Caribbean together for a quick vacation.
Swift is in the middle of a two-month break between Eras Tour dates, while Kelce is enjoying the NFL offseason after a stunning Super Bowl win with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Following his trip to the Caribbean, Kelce was photographed in Ohio last week and has since been spotted in Los Angeles, where he is believed to be spending time with Swift.
