Taylor Swift fans go WILD as she kicks off the LA leg of her Eras Tour with TWO surprise tracks to a star-studded crowd: “Can you see me cry?”
Taylor Swift kicked off the highly anticipated leg of her Eras Tour in Los Angeles to a star-studded crowd at SoFi Stadium on Thursday night.
The hitmaker, 33, has delighted thousands of fans across the US since she embarked on her tour in March, and will wrap up her first leg in the States with six nights in Hollywood.
It came as no surprise that the 70,000 fans in attendance were not disappointed by Taylor’s amazing show, with many speculating that the concert was being filmed for an upcoming documentary after cameras were spotted recording the show.
While many were quick to document her performances on Twitter, others struggled to hide their excitement when Taylor revealed the two surprise songs on the night’s setlist: I Can See You and Maroon.
Taylor has filled her Eras shows with a whopping 45 songs, as well as a selection of surprise numbers, with fans eagerly awaiting which songs would make an unlikely appearance each night.

I Can See You was featured on Taylor’s 2010 album Speak Now, as well as the new version she released last month, while Maroon appears on her most recent album, Midnights.
When they heard that these would be the two songs to appear on Taylor’s first show in LA, fans freaked out.
One tweeted, “Good night to fellow Mad Taylor Swift fans,” while another gushed that she was “not well.”
Another gushed, “I can see myself crying in my room watching this,” while one also shared, “I’m so sick.” This is my song… they won.’
Later in the show, when Taylor announced Maroon was the next surprise song, Swifties were able to hide their joy.
One posted, “You tell me Taylor played Maroon on piano at 8/3 at the rwylm fic and she did tonight.”
Another admitted to “trembling” watching the performance, while one wrote, “And I can see me crying.”
Before taking the stage, fans were treated to performances by Este, Danielle and Alana Haim of the band Haim and singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.

A slew of celebrities came to the big show, including actress Sofia Carson and Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline.
Actress Brie Larson and model Karlie Kloss were also among those attending the show, with the Captain Marvel star showing off her best dance moves in a friend’s video on Instagram Stories.
Swift’s shows are rumored to be filming in LA for a possible Eras Tour, as some fans have seen a professional film crew at the location.
According to TMZLos Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has taken extensive security measures to help them deal with the massive crowds for all six concerts.
The precautions are similar to last year’s prior to Super Bowl LVI at the venue, which can accommodate 70,240 guests.
A statement released Tuesday by the LAPD read that “the department will provide a similar level of visibility to the 2022 Superbowl to ensure the safety of the public throughout the subway system.”

According to the LA timesSwift’s concerts are predicted to bring in “$150 million in spending for the area,” as half a million people are estimated to attend.
Swift made her first appearance in a dazzling rhinestone bodysuit with matching Christian Louboutin boots with the luxury brand’s famous red bottom.
Swift kicked off the North American leg of her stadium tour in March in Glendale, Arizona and was scheduled to conclude in LA on August 9.
But on Thursday, the Anti-Hero hitmaker added 15 more dates, for which she will return to Indiana, Florida, Louisiana and Ontario, Canada.
“Turns out this is NOT the end of an era,” Swift wrote on Twitter. “Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!”
