Taylor Swift fans cause memoir to storm book charts as speculation mounts she is releasing a memoir

Taylor Swift fans are causing mysterious memoirs to storm book lists as speculation mounts that she’s releasing an autobiography

An untitled book that many people believe is an upcoming Taylor Swift memoir has skyrocketed sales in the US.

A book known only as “4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023” by an unknown author is available for pre-order and is currently in the top 10 Amazon book sales list and at the top of Barnes & Noble’s pre-order list.

Taylor’s fans think the upcoming book could be from the singer herself after a document purportedly from Flatiron – a printout of the publisher Macmillan – began circulating on social media.

The document said that the book’s author and title would be revealed on June 13. The book would also be 544 pages long, with Taylor’s fans noting that 5 + 4 + 4 = 13, Taylor’s lucky number.

The book was described in the document as an “autobiography or memoir” and will contain 40 color photographs.

It also has an initial print run of one million copies, suggesting that it was written by a world famous author.

Referring to the contents of the book, the document read: ‘This is not a political book, it is a fun, festive title and will appear a little younger, but is for people of all ages. This has global appeal and will generate huge publicity.

“I’d compare (compare) this to Flatiron’s memoir of Matthew Perry…and a little to Prince Harry’s Spare.”

However, it was a post from Taylor announcing the release of the re-recorded version of her album Speak Now that sent her fans into overdrive that the book is hers.

The hitmaker addressed those who viewed the post as “Dear Reader,” which fans say may hint at an upcoming book.

To add to further speculation, the book is slated for worldwide release on July 9, a date Taylor references in her song Last Kiss, which is on Speak Now.

There is now feverish speculation that Taylor, who is currently in the middle of a world tour, is poised to take the book world by storm.

The hashtag #TaylorSwiftBook now has over a million views on TikTok amid the rumours.

The Bad Blood singer has not addressed growing speculation that the untitled book is hers.

However, Hollywood bible Variety has dismissed claims that Taylor will be releasing a book, saying the “clues” are purely coincidental.

They wrote, “She’s not preparing to release a memoir almost simultaneously with her next album and be in the middle of a national stadium tour, which could count as an excessive exercise in synergy, even for someone so good at able to multitask like Taylor. Fast.’
