Taylor Swift fan left furious after her $660 VIP ticket was ‘stolen’ from her Ticketek account: ‘It glitched out of my account and was relisted for sale’
A Taylor Swift fan was left furious at the weekend when her VIP ticket for the Eras Tour in March was ‘stolen’ from her account just weeks before the concert.
Becca, a 21-year-old Swiftie, bought the coveted $659 ticket for the February 18 Melbourne show via Ticketek Marketplace last December.
The ticket later disappeared from her account and was resold to another buyer in a bizarre incident, but has since been returned to her.
Becca first became concerned when she didn’t receive her VIP package at the same time as other ticket buyers, and checked her account to discover the ticket had ‘disappeared’.
Becca took to TikTok and the Today breakfast show to call for help when the ticket was ‘stolen’ from her account, revealing that she even had an email confirmation of her purchase to prove she had bought the ticket.

A Ticketek spokesperson told Ny Breaking Australia on Monday: “Ticketek apologizes to Rebecca for any confusion.”
‘We can assure Rebecca that she now has tickets in her account. We have now contacted Rebecca to confirm this.”
Becca said she spent weeks trying to get a seat at one of the pop star’s sold-out shows, and was grateful to find a VIP package so close to the concert dates.
Becca became concerned when she didn’t receive her VIP package at the same time as other ticket buyers, and checked her account to discover the ticket had ‘disappeared’. A Ticketek employee told her it had disappeared from her account and been resold to someone else
But she added, “When everyone started receiving their VIP packages and I wasn’t, I started to get a little worried.”
‘I checked my Ticketek account and the ticket was gone.’
Becca went on to say that her mother had entered a Ticketek office in the city after being unable to get through to an employee on the phone for days.

An employee then told her mother that Becca’s ticket had apparently “slipped out” of her account and had been relisted for sale on Ticketek Marketplace.
“(The employee said) someone else has it, we don’t know who, we can’t control or track who has your ticket,” Becca said.
‘My ticket was actually stolen from me. It’s scary to know that our accounts aren’t secure enough to hold our tickets once they’re purchased.”
