Taylor Swift fan furiously shuts down conservative critic who branded the popstar ‘hyper-promiscuous’ and ‘shameful’ by sharing a wholesome story about her first meeting with the music icon

A Taylor Swift fan has shared a heartwarming story in response to an angry troll who declared the singer a “hyperpromiscuous, childless woman.”

Brittany Martinez, a model and founder of wellness app 28, shared the story in response to Eric Conn, a conservative Christian and host of The Hard Men Podcast, who decried Swift's nomination as Time's Person of the Year for 2023.

“It's shameful and sad that a hyper-promiscuous, childless woman (Taylor Swift), aging and alone with a cat, has become the heroine of a feminist era.” Conn raged on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In another post, Conn continued, he expanded on his point, writing that Swift “is celebrated in our culture as the ideal woman — single, promiscuous, immodestly dressed and something of a 'boss babe.'

“It's shameful and sad that a hyper-promiscuous, childless woman (Taylor Swift), aging and alone with a cat, has become the heroine of a feminist era,” Conn raged on X

“She writes songs about divorce and sexual exploitation, among other things, and is currently dating an NFL football player who is also notoriously promiscuous,” Conn ranted.

“She openly mocks standard Christian views on sexuality and sexual morality,” he added.

In answer, Martinez shared a story about meeting the singer while filming a featurette for her Red album, about explaining that she met the artist after signing on as a “hipster who looked extra” in the video for I Knew You Were Trouble, and about booking the role.

“On the flight back to LA there was a magazine and Taylor Swift being interviewed about her new album,” Martinez explained in the post, saying that one passage from the article that stood out to her was when they talked about her being a “ big giant.'

“So we go on set. It's me, along with two other girls. “We are supposed to be Taylor's friends who she hangs out with when she is approached by the 'bad boy' and a whirlwind romance begins,” the model explained.

“Taylor comes up to us and the first thing she does is say, 'Nice to meet you! “I'm Taylor,” she continued, describing Swift as “with bangs, light makeup and very slim.”

“Which I thought was funny, as we all knew, but later I realized she did that on all her shows,” she added.

'I introduced myself and told her that I expected her to be this big, but she's actually not that big. She started laughing and said, “Okay?” Then she stood back to back next to me and she was only a few inches taller (I'm 6 feet tall),” she recalled.

Martinez then said they had a chat, before telling the global superstar that she would be meeting her boyfriend's family (now her husband's family) for the first time in Tennessee.

'As anyone who knows me knows, I like to talk about my husband. So after I tell Taylor all about him and how excited I am to meet his family, (and) she says, “I hope one day I'm with a man who makes me light up like you do when you talk about your boyfriend,'” the mother of one recalled.

She then summed up why Swift was so beloved by women, writing that she “truly captures the female experience in a rare way.”

'While most pop stars have a team of incredible songwriters, she writes herself. Her lyrics relate to women all over the world. The excitement of falling in love for the first time. The pain of heartbreak,” Martinez mentioned, saying her audience is “35 and under.”

“She's not an 'I don't need a man' girl,” the Swiftie continued. 'She is a romantic and is currently in a relationship. She was with her last boyfriend for six years. She has also always loved cats.'

Martinez continued, “The average girl who listens to her doesn't think she'll be the next famous singer/songwriter and is frowned upon by men because TSwift isn't married yet.

“The average girl who listens to her is a romantic, much more than a fan of Cardi B or Meghan Trainor.”

The passionate woman wrote that the pop star has carved her niche by being the awkward girl next door, and not a sex symbol.

“That's the easiest route for a pop star,” she chimed in. “But someone like her can't leave her house for a nice walk to get coffee without a storm of paparazzi like you or me.”

She said: 'There is no shortage of men who will jump at the chance to date someone as famous as her, but she needs to be extra careful given what is at stake for her.

“She's 'Person of the Year' because she had the highest-grossing tour of all time. It was a phenomenon. She has broken barriers, not only as a female artist, but as an artist in general,” she concluded the impassioned post.

“I hope she falls in love with a wonderful man in the future.”

Fans loved the feel-good story, with many commenting on their own experiences with the pop star's music.

“What an unexpectedly wholesome story,” one user wrote. “Aside from her politics, Swift has always seemed like a decent person.”

“This is a beautiful story and reaffirms why me, my wife and (5 and 7) year old daughters are hardcore Swifties,” another agreed.

“I met her makeup artist on a beach in NC during the 1989 tour and she had similar kind things to say about Taylor.”

“She appeals to men and women of all ages, not just the 35 and under niche,” one fan argued.

“So I'm approaching 50 and I love her as much as my teenagers,” someone else wrote.

“We were all young once and she does the best job of capturing all that hope… and fear. I just love Taylor Swift.”
