Taylor Swift Eras Tour: Can you guess which city in Australia has the most Swifties?
Can you guess which place in Australia has the most Swifties? The surprising city obsessed with Taylor Swift is revealed as Aussies scramble for Eras Tour tickets
The Australian city with the most Taylor Swift fans has been revealed, as the pop star prepares to visit Down Under for her Eras Tour.
Amid the rush for tickets to one of Australia’s seven shows, new data released by Marketix Digital showed the ACT iIt is home to more Swifties than anywhere else in Australia.
Shoaib Mughal, general manager of Marketix digitalconfirmed the result to Daily Mail Australia after analyzing Google search trends following the announcement of the Eras Tour last week.
While Sydney and Melbourne will have to shake it off, it’s Canberra where the Style hitmaker proved to be most loved per capita.
The ACT had a perfect score of 100, indicating the highest level of interest per capita.
New South Wales came second at 88 and Victoria came third at 80.

Queensland trailed Tasmania with a score of 59.
According to the data, the American hitmaker was least popular in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
The search score in Western Australia was 44, while the Northern Territory received the lowest score at 40.

Mughal theorized that Taylor’s decision to perform only in Sydney and Melbourne was the cause of the low level of interest from central Australia and the west coast.
“With WA and NT being so far from Sydney and Melbourne where Taylor will be performing, I think her fans in these states have given up buying tickets and they would have to pay for flights and accommodation in these two cities,” Mughal said.
“With accommodation reported to be scarce in both capitals, it’s no wonder NT and WA fans have given up trying to get Swift tickets.”
The buzz around Taylor Swift tickets has been nothing short of chaotic in Australia.
General admission tickets to her Sydney concerts sold out within hours on Friday when they were released.
Swift’s Eras Tour is quickly developing into one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time, already earning more than $1 billion.
The iconic singer performs a set list of 44 songs over three hours, consisting of both new and her classic hits.
The Pennsylvania native will now perform seven shows in Australia in February, three in Melbourne and four in Sydney.
The Victorian shows will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 16, 17 and 18.
Swift will then fly to Sydney to perform at Accor Stadium for four consecutive nights on February 23, 24, 25 and 26.
The stadium capacity at the MCG will be over 100,000, while Accor has a capacity of 83,500.
