Taylor Swift doppelganger speaks out on being mistaken for the singer at Travis Kelce’s last Chiefs game

An NFL fan who was mistaken for Taylor Swift during the Pittsburgh Steelers-Kansas City Chiefs game on Christmas Day has taken to social media to address her accidental fame.

The singer did not make the trip to Steel City to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, continuing her trend of staying away from Chiefs road games this season.

But before the game, there was some speculation that now that Swift is not on tour, she might have headed to Pittsburgh to see Kelce in action.

Fans and reporters watched the VIP suites ahead of kickoff and some mistakenly thought they had spotted the singer as she took her seat just before the match started.

Instead, it was a fan who has now identified herself on TikTok as Olivia Adamonis, who said she realized people in the box were waving at her and taking pictures of her.

“I just waved back because I didn’t want to seem mean or rude,” she explained in her first-ever TikTok video, reflecting on the day.

It wasn’t until the game was over that she discovered what had happened.

“An employee came up to me and said, ‘You know you’re all over TikTok and Twitter, right?’ I’m scrolling through Twitter and I see a bunch of pictures,” Adamonis said.

“So I’m sorry to the people who thought I was Taylor Swift. It was me. It was a big deal. I have pictures of me and my friend at the game, it was a box.

“I can see it, from far away they might have thought that because of my hair, the way I did makeup, I was wearing red lipstick.”

Swift missed a record day for her friend Kelce against the Steelers.

His fourth-quarter touchdown set a franchise record of 77 touchdowns for the Chiefs, eclipsing Tony Gonzalez’s record.

And with the 29-10 victory, Kelce and his team retained the AFC’s No. 1 ranking.

It means they have a bye when the playoffs start and with one regular season game left, it could be a while before Kelce is back on the field.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is expected to rest his key men for the road game against Denver Broncos on January 5 and keep them safe for the playoffs.

The next time Kelce takes the field will be the weekend of January 18-19 at Arrowhead Stadium.

There will be no doubt that Swift will then be in the stands as the Chiefs reach the final straight in their bid for their third straight Super Bowl title.
