Taylor Swift ‘could join Travis Kelce as he hosts birthday charity event tonight in Kansas City’ as Chiefs star celebrates turning 35
Taylor Swift could join Travis Kelce at his charity car jam event in Kansas City on Saturday night, with the Chiefs star celebrating his 35th birthday.
Kelce’s annual car event is a fundraiser for his 87-year-old and ongoing foundation to help children in Kansas City and Cleveland.
His older brother Jason said this week at New Heights that he will be attending the event with his younger brother and there’s a chance Kelce’s girlfriend will be there too.
In September, US Weekly reported that Swift was planning to go, with the publication saying, “Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his birthday on October 5 with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”
Travis said on his podcast this week that he planned to show off the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle he drove Swift around Kansas City last year after she went to her first Chiefs game.

Swift was absent from the last two Chiefs games in which Kelce played
“This year is the second year we’re hosting a car show, basically a block party style event, where some of the city’s best cars from the Fuel House, a fun car club here, will be on display,” Kelce said.
“And then I think there’s a lot of others lining up. It’s going to be fun. I should have my old ’70 Chevelle all revved up, ready to rock’n’roll. If not, I’ll take one of the other cars I have.
“It’s always fun to go out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every time I’ve done something fundamental, and I love them for that.”
Swift has missed the last two Chiefs games – wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers – but DailyMail.Com exclusively reported this week how she was ready to support Kelce during his rocky start to the season.
Kelce has struggled to recapture the form that made him widely regarded as the best tight end to ever play in the league, but showed signs of a resurgence in last weekend’s 17-10 win in Los Angeles.
His mother, Donna, confirmed on her Facebook page that she will also be joining Travis at the event.
The Chiefs are back in NFL action Monday night against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium.
It will be the first Chiefs game Jason has called with his younger brother since he retired and joined ESPN’s Monday Night Football coverage.

Jason said in September: “I don’t know if I’m going to beat Travis any differently than anyone else. I mean, I feel like I’ve been praising him for as long as I can remember.
‘I have to be honest: I think it’s important to do that when you comment. So I’m just going to try to do that and just say what I think organically, and not think about it too much.
“That one (vs. New Orleans Saints) is going to be really fun because Travis’ birthday is October 5th.
“So I can go in and celebrate his birthday with him, whereas normally we don’t see each other the season before. Then I can report on the match.’
