Kamala Harris will be left empty-handed at her closing rally in Pennsylvania tonight after Taylor Swift arrived in Kansas City to watch Travis Kelce play for the Chiefs.
Swift, who publicly endorsed Harris for president in September, walked into Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night wearing a black, red and gold leather Chiefs jacket to confirm she will not attend the Democratic nominee’s final campaign event.
Many had speculated about the pop megastar appearing at the rally to boost support for Harris and the Democrats on the eve of Tuesday’s all-important election.
However, on Sunday it emerged that she was not on the list to perform as musical guest in Pennsylvania, which all but suggested she would not be in attendance as Kelce and the Chiefs face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that same night.
And as expected, Swift arrived at Arrowhead about an hour before kickoff, having opted to shake off Harris and cheer on her friend instead.

The Chiefs look to continue their flawless start to the season against the Buccaneers (4-4) after winning seven of seven so far.
Swift has attended all three of Kansas City’s home games at Arrowhead this season and found time in between her busy Eras Tour schedule to support Travis from the stands.
The singer wrapped up the last of her shows in Indianapolis on Sunday, meaning she was free to attend Monday night’s clash with Tampa Bay.

After performing three shows in Indianapolis this weekend, she won’t perform again in Toronto until November 14.
Swift and many other Democratic voters will hold their breath Tuesday as America finally chooses its next president.

Harris, who served as Joe Biden’s vice president for almost four years, will make one last plea for the country during her final meeting on Monday evening.
The VP spent all of Monday in Pennsylvania, the biggest prize among the states expected to determine the Electoral College outcome.
“We need everyone in Pennsylvania to vote,” she said. ‘You will make a difference in these elections.’
In addition to Allentown, Harris visited Scranton — Biden’s hometown — and had planned a stop in Reading before ending with an overnight rally in Philadelphia that would be attended by Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey.
“Are you ready to do this?” Harris shouted Monday in Scranton, with a large handmade “VOTE FOR FREEDOM” sign behind her and a similar “VOTE” banner at her side.
Trump, meanwhile, went to North Carolina before visiting Reading. He will also head to Pittsburgh, on the other side of the state, before wrapping up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he will hold his final campaign rally at the same place he concluded his 2016 and 2020 runs.
