Taylor Swift has caused a boom in searches for red jackets after wearing one during her appearance at the Chiefs-Packers game with Brittany Mahomes, according to Google Trends data analysis.
The analysis of Google Trends data by Boohoo reveals that searches for 'red coat' have increased by 407 percent and 151 percent respectively globally and in the US over the past seven days.
Both searches spiked when the superstar supported her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in Chief's third loss in five weeks in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday, December 3.
As excited Swifties clamored to emulate the singer's exact style, global and U.S. searches for “red teddy coat” exploded by more than 3,000 percent — an eye-watering increase of more than 30 times average volume.
