Taylor Swift adds three new opening acts to her Eras Tour shows at Wembley Stadium in London

Taylor Swift revealed she would be adding three new opening artists to UK dates on her Eras Tour.

She shared the news on her Instagram Story on Monday.

The 34-year-old hitmaker announced that Mette, Griff and Benson Boone would perform with her at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21, 22 and 23 respectively.

The songwriter will also be joined by Paramore for all eight of her dates at Wembley Stadium, four of which will take place in August.

The singer said she chose Mette, Griff and Boone to open for her in London because she “chose artists whose music I enjoy listening to.”

Swift also shared a message on her Story, writing that she was excited that her song Fortnight, which was featured on her recently released album The Tortured Poets Department, topped the UK airplay chart.

The artist added that she couldn’t “wait for them to add an extra jolt of excitement to our shows at @wembleystadium in June.”

Swift kicked off The Eras Tour last March with a pair of performances at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The set list for the False God singer’s tour consists of songs she has written throughout her career as a songwriter.

The artist’s series of shows has since become the highest-grossing tour in history as it has grossed over $1 billion since kicking off.

Swift has also enlisted several high-profile artists as openers, including Phoebe Bridgers, Haim and Gracie Abrams.

The hitmaker is currently set to conclude her tour with a trio of shows at Vancouver’s BC Place in December.

The songwriter recently changed the set list of her shows following the release of The Tortured Poets Department, which took place last month.

The record was produced in part by Swift’s longtime collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, and featured contributions from guest artists Post Malone and Florence and the Machine.

Fortnight, which was the result of a collaboration between Swift and the rapper Congratulations, was also released as a single on the same day as the album’s debut.

Just two hours after its official release, the record was expanded into a double album subtitled The Anthology.

The Tortured Poets Department subsequently peaked at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart.

The hitmaker’s latest album received generally positive reviews from critics following its official debut.
