Taylor Lewan says fans are ‘OVERREACTING’ about the Tennessee Titans dumping their possessions in trash bags after releasing him, and says the franchise treated him ‘incredibly’ in nine years there

A day after sharing a photo of her belongings in garbage bags on her doorstep, Taylor Lewan has downplayed how the Tennessee Titans delivered her items.

Lewan was released last week by the Titans after nine years with the team, and some fans and former players took issue with the way his items were delivered.

‘Not great at all. The latest ‘Door Dash,’ said two-time Super Bowl champion Mark Collins Sr.

‘This looks like a break up’, another reclaimed.

But Lewan took to Twitter on Wednesday to inform stakeholders that they were “overreacting” and that he had no problem with the organization.

‘Yeah, it’s in garbage bags, who cares? What does it need to be on, like a horse-drawn carriage? A gold chariot that they get in and say ‘hey, thanks for the last nine years?’ he said.

“Let’s stop overreacting,” he said, after mentioning that he had asked the team to leave the items for him.

“The Titans have treated me amazing, even when they cut me it was an incredible deal, they let me choose when they were going to cut me.”

Lewan left the Titans amicably after nearly a decade of excellent service to the Nashville franchise.

His release has been expected since he tore his ACL last September. As a result, he was placed on injured reserve.

Lewan started 100 of 105 games played for Tennessee. His Bussin’ With the Boys podcast announced its launch on social media, and Lewan, who turns 32 in July, retweeted the post with his own message to Titans fans.

It’s unclear if Lewan will continue his NFL career or retire entirely and continue to further his burgeoning career in sports media.

“I have to get into a situation that I have never been in in my whole life: I have to weigh the pros and cons of playing football or not playing football,” he told the web of titans.
