Taylor Fritz breaks his silence after crashing out of Wimbledon… while girlfriend Morgan Riddle gushes over meeting Sex and the City actress

Taylor Fritz admitted he is “hurt” after being knocked out in a thrilling five-set match against Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti at Wimbledon.

The American was knocked out of the tournament on Wednesday afternoon after losing his quarter-final 3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.

“Everyone loves Wimbledon,” he wrote alongside a series of photos on Instagram on Thursday.

“Tough match yesterday, it always hurts to come up just short, but that’s part of the game. Now all I can do is rest, get back to work and get a good flight home,” he added.

His fashion influencer girlfriend Morgan Riddle was on hand to support him from his box, along with Keira Knightley And Queen Camilla who were also spotted in the crowd.

Earlier in the day, the social media sensation shared a clip of herself interviewing Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall.

“2 years ago I posted a funny tiktok video and today I’m interviewing THE Samantha Jones,” Riddle captioned a video of herself chatting to the TV icon in a cream trench coat.

The 26-year-old has teamed up with the tournament to present a series called Wimbledon Threads, in which she interviews fans and celebrities at the notoriously glamorous event about their outfits.

The blonde beauty also made headlines earlier this week when she became embroiled in a dispute with Alexander Zverev after Fritz knocked him out in the round of 16.

The German player, who was accused of physically abusing the mother of his child in 2020, agreed to a $217,820 settlement last year.

However, he was not found guilty of any wrongdoing.

After his loss to the 26-year-old Fritz, Zverev said he was angry with some of the people in the California native’s box who “may not be from the tennis world.”

“His team is extremely respectful. I think his coach, his physiotherapist, and also his second coach, are extremely respectful,” Zverev said.

“I think there are other people in the box who may not be from the tennis world, who may not have watched every match. They were a little bit over the top.”

It appeared to be a reference to Riddle, who declared in a now-deleted Instagram story that Fritz’s win was a “win for the girls.”

She later responded to the cryptic post, clarifying: “Regarding my stories from yesterday… I deleted them as soon as I realized the misunderstandings and how much they had been taken out of context by the media.”

She continued: ‘It wasn’t about anything that happened off the tennis court and there is no animosity between the two.’
