Notorious vegan activist Tash Peterson has taken part in a disturbing protest where she pretended to be a piece of meat.
The Melbourne-based full-time animal rights activist slipped inside a ‘human-sized meat tray’ alongside two other actors in Sydney’s busy Pitt Street Mall.
The demonstration was designed to make pedestrians think twice about eating meat.
Working alongside international animal rights organisation, PETA, Ms Peterson lay nude inside of a cardboard box covered in fake blood and sealed with a clear sheet of plastic to mimic the packaging of raw meat.

‘Humans need to realise that while other animals look different to us, they are the same in all the ways that truly matter, and it’s time to make the connection and go vegan,’ PETA Senior Communications and Partnerships Manager Emily Rice said.
One Twitter user shared an image of the protest which was under way about 11am, calling it ‘vile’ and ‘totally unhinged’.
The 28-year-old shocked onlookers two weeks ago when she paraded around a luxury Melbourne boutique in only her underwear.
The stunt was to celebrate one-year-anniversary of her ‘most powerful protest’ in which she smeared blood on herself and walked nude into Louis Vuitton store again.

Ms Peterson drenched her almost naked body and the store´s steps in red liquid as she preached to her stunned audience.
‘Louis Vuitton murder cows, sheep, goats, crocodiles, snakes, foxes, minks, ducks and geese. They murder baby lambs and turn their skin into leather jackets,’ she yelled.
‘Louis Vuitton have blood on their hands and so do you if you`re not vegan. The fur, leather, wool, down, scale and silk industries abuse, torture and murder animals.
Ms Peterson was eventually approached by security guards who asked her to leave the store.
The activist is known to catch attention by wearing little to no clothes during her protests

The 28-year-old is known to catch the public´s attention wearing little to no clothes and drenched in fake blood in a bid to shock people into avoiding animal products.
She revealed on her OnlyFans account that she had never worn lingerie until last year and only started the account to help her become a full-time rights activist.
Some of her other stunts involved holding a faux severed pig head doused in blood outside of a Melbourne butcher, receiving a barrage of verbal abuse from the small business owner.
In June, she took to Bourke St Mall, again with Ms Ferrario, wearing nothing but nude briefs, nipple covers and carrying a stuffed toy that resembled a baby lamb covered in blood.
Ms Peterson and her partner Jack Higgs recently made the move from Western Australia in June after she was banned from all licensed venues following one of her controversial protests.
She announced the move on her Instagram saying she was “getting the f**k out of WA”.
