Controversial vegan activist Tash Peterson has been charged after interrupting a livestock rating competition she tackled and deported last year.

Storming Perth’s Royal Show in 2021, Peterson disrupted a livestock inspection event by jumping over the barrier and shouting ‘these beautiful and innocent creatures will be brutally murdered and shot in the head’.

As shocked onlookers, including children, watched, an enraged farmer assaulted the 27-year-old and threw her from the exhibit.

Peterson later left WA but returned to the Perth Royal Show on Monday and locked himself in a cattle show ring.

She told her social media followers that she joined “fellow animal rights activist Aly” and “disrupted the abhorrent ‘Royal’ Agricultural Show.”

Peterson claimed the event “enchants the slavery, abuse and murder of animals.”

Police have confirmed that both activists have now been charged with trespass and disorderly conduct in public or in sight or hearing of a person in a public place.

Police have confirmed that Peterson and another activist have now been charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct in public or within sight or hearing of a person in a public place

“We’ve stuck to the jury where slaves are judged on how appetizing their bodies look,” Peterson said.

“These industries and the Royal Show have painted a picture that animal husbandry is glamorous, ethical and humane.

“Non-human animals are not commodities, food, slaves, machines or objects. They are people just like us who have personalities, families, feel pain and desire to live free from evil.’

It comes a year after the glamorous Instagram and OnlyFans star, who has made a name for himself performing high-profile public stunts, was assaulted in another protest during the show.

Footage from last year’s event was posted to Ms. Peterson’s social media pages at the time, showing her interrupting the event to preach about an “animal holocaust.”

However, she was then snatched from the cattle pen by an enraged farmer who grabbed her by the scruff of her shorts.

Peterson was later left furious after the farmer failed to press charges for his action.

“In this protest, I entered an arena where cattle were objectified and judged on the basis of their bodies to be used for meat consumption,” she said at the time.

“This attack resulted in bruises all over my body and in my groin area as a result of the force with which I was lifted by my pants, exposing my buttocks and my body hitting the fence violently.

“The police officer told me that because I committed an offense (I was not charged with offense for this protest), he used reasonable force to remove me from the arena.

“He told me that the animals are easily frightened and can cause death, so I was removed for safety.”

The 28-year-old previously said she didn’t want to eat meat anymore when she saw the popular 1995 Australian film Babe, about an orphaned farm pig who wants to do the work of a sheepdog.

She is notorious for her public protests and earlier this month she lay almost naked in a meat tray in Sydney’s busy Pitt Street Mall, covered in blood and wrapped in plastic like a piece of meat.

Ms. Peterson has claimed to make $40,000 a month from her OnlyFans account, which she opened last year to fund her dream of devoting all her energies to animal activism.
