Dramatic footage captured the moment a Target shoplifter was caught by police after stealing a TV, only to return to steal a more expensive one.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was caught stealing a TV from a target in Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday.

Store employees stopped a police officer after the suspect returned brazenly after the initial theft. The agent waited outside with security and approached the man as he left the store with the second stolen TV set.

Bodycam footage shows how the officer sprints after the suspect with a drawn taser and tackles him in the parking lot.

The suspect pleaded guilty to shoplifting and assault.

The footage shows the agent standing outside the Target store approaching the man as he tries to leave with a large television.

With his taser already out, the suspect turns and flees back into the store before finding himself again and exiting the other exit.

Still holding his Taser, the officer manages to pin the man to the ground after dramatically lunging at the man in the parking lot.

The man begins to fight back, yelling, “I didn’t do anything. Please stop man, I don’t want to fucking go to jail.’

Dashcam footage from the arresting officer’s car shows the two wrestling on the floor outside the store.

After two minutes, backup arrives to assist the officer in the arrest.

The video then cuts back to the bodycam footage and you can hear the man screaming, “Please stop man, I need to get to a hospital.” before screaming in pain.

The arresting officer was reported to have suffered only minor injuries during the altercation.
