A missing 22-year-old man has been found dead in bushland a month after he first disappeared.
Tarci Carey, from Nambour, Queensland, was last seen leaving his home at about 4am on August 5 with police and friends desperately searching for him in the weeks since.
His abandoned car was spotted in the Brooloo State Forest on August 8 and, on Tuesday, his body was found in Imbil State Forest by search crews a significant walking distance from the car.
Police say investigations into his death are ongoing but the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.

Mr Carey was headed to work at Dakabin on the outskirts of north Brisbane when he was last on August 5, but never arrived.
His silver Mitsubishi Lancer was found in dense bushland on the morning of Saturday August 6.
It was discovered by four-wheel drive enthusiasts who did not realise it belonged to the missing man.
However, the next day they saw a desperate plea for help from Mr Carey’s family on social media.
Police, SES, family, friends and colleagues of Mr Carey searched the Brooloo State Forest in the weeks since his disappearance.
Rescue crews including police, SES drones, helicopters and mounted police were all involved in the search before it was temporarily scaled back on August 12.

The general manager of Barung Landcare, where Mr Carey has worked for the past three years, said he was beloved by all his co-workers.
Co-worker Tigerlily Boyce told the Gympie Times on August 19 she felt like rescuers were ‘shouting into the void’ as the search wore on.
A GoFundMe page set up to fund the search described Mr Carey as ‘a natural areas regenerator, an accomplished martial artist, a friend, a brother and one of the kindest people you could meet’.
The page described the search as ‘physically, emotionally and financially exhausting’ but said ‘his community won’t rest until he is returned’.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
