Taraji P. Henson dazzled when she arrived on the red carpet of the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on Thursday evening.

The 53-year-old Color Purple actress – who recently fired her team – turned heads in a deep green dress covered in small glittering stones.

The sleek number showed off her cleavage and gathered around her waist before ending with a draped slit detail.

Henson added strappy, multi-colored metallic open-toe high heels to the fun and elegant look.

She showed off her megawatt smile as she posed for photos along the step-and-repeat of the star-studded event.

The Hidden Figures star looked glamorous with her dark hair in a sleek, high ponytail with subtle texture.

She accessorized with a pair of delicate linear earrings and several statement rings that adorned her short, nude nails.

The Empire sensation was effortlessly beautiful with a warm-colored makeup palette that accentuated her features.

The black tie event was hosted at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Winners of the annual affair included Paul Giamatti, who took home the Icon Award for acting, and Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell, who were recognized with the Chairman's Award.

The brother-sister collaborators were honored for their song What Was I Made For? from the Barbie soundtrack.

Other attendees included Eva Longoria, Meryl Streep and Kirsten Dunst.

Every January, The Film Society hosts the Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF), followed by the Palm Springs ShortFest in June.

The official website states, “In addition to curating the best in international cinema, PSIFF has become known as the first stop on the road to the Academy Awards.”

It added that the Oscar®-qualifying ShortFest is the largest short film festival and market in North America.

“Our year-round festivals and programs express our organization's mission by nurturing and encouraging new film talent, celebrating the great masters of world cinema and broadening audiences' horizons.”
