There was no shortage of celebrity support for the Schiaparelli and Neiman Marcus cocktail event at John Sowden’s Los Angeles home on Thursday.
For the event, Taraji P. Henson spent a lot of time with her longtime friend, actress Gabrielle Union.
Henson oozed elegance in a cream midi dress with a wide fabric hem at the bottom that hugged her feminine curves from top to bottom.
The actress paired the striking spaghetti number with a pair of black heels, all while carrying a gorgeous cream handbag.
Rounding off her overall look, Henson (born Taraji Penda Henson), 53, pulled her long raven hair back from her face into a high ponytail and accessorized with a gold necklace and large earrings.

After a few solo poses, the Empire alum would also snuggle up next to Union, who was dressed in an olive green convertible jumpsuit.
The youthful piece helped show off her fabulous figure with its off-the-shoulder design that included a seashell print on the chest area.
The She’s All That actress, 50, also wore a pair of gold shoes, carried a light blue handbag and had her dark locks pulled back in a ponytail.
At times, the two ladies could be seen laughing out loud during their one-on-one conversations.
The two ladies have been friends for more than 20 years, and have worked together on several occasions in a film.
Both actresses have achieved breakthrough success in Hollywood and have also thrived in entrepreneurship.
Henson made a name for herself starring in the films Baby Boy (2001), as well as Hustle And Flow (2005), Hidden Figures and the hit Fox drama series Empire (2015-2020).
Union became a household name thanks to Bring It On (2000), Deliver Us From Eve (2003) and the BET drama series Being Mary Jane (2013-2019).
The two actresses also starred together in Think Like A Man (2012) and Think Like A Man (2014).

Henson also smiled when she met actress and director Regina King at the event.
The Big Bang Theory star looked both sleek and chic in black trousers and a red off-the-shoulder top that resembled a bra, but with loose matching embellishments along the bottom of the top.

The partnership between Neiman Marcus and Schiaparelli dates back to 1940 when Maison founder Elsa Schiaparelli won one of the first Neiman Marcus Awards for Outstanding Service in Fashion for her significant impact on the industry.
Neiman Marcus, in partnership with the French Maison, is opening Schiaparelli’s first West Coast location at the luxury retailer’s Beverly Hills store.

The computer-animated superhero comedy has grossed more than $90.5 million against a $30 million budget since its September 29 release.
The sequel PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021) also features the voices of Mckenna Grace, Marsai Martin, Christian Convery, Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, North West, Saint West, Lil Rel Howery, Serena Williams, James Marsden, Kristen Bell and Finn Li-Ep.
For his next role, Henson stars as Shug Avery in the new film adaptation of The Color Purple, alongside Fantasia Barino, Danielle Brooks, Coleman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, HER, Halle Bailey and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi.
The musical coming-of-age drama is the second film adaptation of the novel, following the original of the same name directed by Steven Spielberg.
Spielberg and Quincy Jones return to produce this version, along with the musical’s producers Scott Sanders and Oprah Winfrey, the latter of whom also starred in the 1985 film as Sophia.
The Color Purple is scheduled to be released in the US on Christmas Day, December 25th
