A popular influencer was allegedly assaulted and attacked by her ex. She says she is ‘learning to love herself again’.
It’s been two months since Tara Eslami was allegedly dragged by her hair and punched multiple times in the face in a Sydney hotel room by her then-boyfriend, TikTok star Rabih Houchar, 26, who also allegedly threatened to kill her.
On Monday, Houchar, known as @Dior_onma_body to his 16,800 followers, appeared in the NSW Supreme Court on monday, in which he pleaded not guilty to domestic violence with intent to cause bodily harm, destruction or damage to property and stalking or intimidation.
He was held in custody but was released on bail on Monday. The strict conditions are: house arrest, no internet access and the obligation to report to the police.
On Tuesday, Ms Eslami, who has more than 17,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram, thanked those who have supported her in recent weeks.
She uploaded a short clip of herself opening a card that read, “We believe in you, love you, and support you.”

The clip also featured boxes of chocolate-dipped strawberries and cupcakes sent to her by her supporters.
“Without my team I am nothing, you have become my family, thank you so much,” Eslami captioned the clip.
In recent weeks, Ms Eslami has shared photos of herself looking relaxed at trendy Melbourne bar Ototo, South Yarra rooftop bar Beverly, fine dining restaurant Nobu and relaxing at a smoothie bar.
“I’m learning to love myself again, together with the people who love me the most,” she captioned the photo on Nobu.

Court documents show Houchar had an on-again, off-again relationship with Ms Eslami when they returned from lunch at the Vibe Hotel in Sydney on June 16th.
Daily Mail Australia previously revealed that she attended a lavish boat party to celebrate a fellow influencer’s birthday on the night of the alleged attack.
