Tana Mongeau reveals she matched with a guy on Hinge and he ended up ‘stalking her’ in the middle of the night

A young woman feels “sneaked out” after her Hinge date “stalked” her in the middle of the night.

American YouTube personality Tana Mongeau, 25, went on a first date with the 34-year-old man who she thought was a “super good dude.”

The next night she attended a fashion event and claims he was eager to see her that night.

While Tana messaged him saying she would keep in touch to possibly meet up later that night, he instead showed up unannounced at the nightclub where she was with friends.

“Five minutes go by and he texts me and says, ‘I’m outside, come get in my car. I’m outside,'” Tana told her canceled podcast co-host Brooke Schofield.

She recalled the entire ordeal in a podcast episode that was also shared in a TikTok video.

“I had just gone out with him on a date the night before and the next day he said, ‘I’d like to see you tonight,'” she began.

“I was like, ‘Okay, I have an event. I’ll let you know what I’m going to do afterward. We might hang out. If not, I’ll let you know.’ And then he says, “Can I come with you?”

“I think it’s really weird that when you go on a date with someone, that person invites themselves.”

The glamorous blonde said she was paid to attend events and she didn’t feel comfortable bringing someone she barely knows.

“I don’t want to babysit this man all night. For example, I just want to be able to do my thing,” she continued.

“So I say, ‘I don’t know…let’s meet later.’ And he said, “Why not? I can talk to people too.” He’s 34, which I find kind of odd, you know? I thought, “Maybe I’ll see you later.”‘

“Five minutes go by and he texts me and says, "I'm outside, come get in my car. I'm outside",” Tana told her co-host of the canceled podcast, Brooke Schofield

'I think that's so crazy. If it's like your boyfriend it's fine, or even if we've been dating for a month. But we went on a date the day before. Why the hell are you outside? Don't stay outside,' she said

After the fashion event, she and her friends went to an after-party nightclub in Los Angeles.

“So he texts me, and he says, ‘What are you doing?’ I’m like, “Oh, I’m still hanging out with my friends,” Tana said.

“I tell him, ‘I know it’s 1:15 a.m. It’s a little late, but if you want to watch a movie or hang out later, I could possibly be down, but I’ll be here.’

“He said, ‘It’s okay. I’m tired, but I want to watch a movie later when you’re done soon.’ And I’m like, “Okay, perfect.”

And he says, “Where are you?” I answer him because it’s just a conversation. So I’m like, “Oh, I’m in this nightclub vibrating with my friends. I’ll tell you when I’m done.”‘

However, five minutes later, she claims to have received a text from the man stating that he was outside in his car.

“Five minutes go by and he texts me and says, ‘I’m outside, come get in my car. I’m outside,'” she said.

And I say, “What do you mean you’re outside?” And he says, “I live five minutes away, I’m outside.”‘

Co-host Brooke added that Tana never told her to “pick me up” from the after party.
