Tammy Hembrow breaks her silence after her wedding invitation was leaked and she faced backlash for making the ceremony ‘child-free’
Tammy Hembrow has responded to the online backlash she received after her wedding invitation to Matt Zukowski was leaked by a handful of influencers who were on the guest list earlier this week.
The fitness influencer, 30, and the former Love Island star, 28, got engaged in December after just three months of dating and will be a married couple in November.
In a TikTok video, Tammy admitted that the invitation leak has caused chaos.
“You may know that my wedding details were accidentally leaked online recently,” she said.
‘This has caused a number of problems for me. I’ve had to change a lot of details because we want it to stay very private, and it’s been a little frustrating.”

The Gold Coast blonde then clarified the interesting details on her wedding invitation, causing a stir on social media.
Tammy and her fiancé Matt have requested a wishing well — donation box into which guests deposit cash gifts in lieu of material items — despite Tammy’s net worth being a whopping $50 million, according to AFR’s Young Rich List.
‘Your presence on our day is the greatest gift of all. However, if you would like to gift us something, there will be a wishing well at our wedding for your contribution and good wishes,” the invitation reads.
In her TikTok video, Tammy clarified, “I’m not asking for donations at my wedding. This is for my family and friends… We will have a wishing well.
‘A wishing well is very normal at a wedding.’

The couple have also asked for the ceremony and wedding reception to remain ‘child-free’, but Tammy has three young children: son Wolf, nine, and daughters Saskia, seven, and Posey, one.
“While we love your babies, our wedding will be child-free,” the invitation continues.
‘A babysitter can be arranged upon request. Bubs is very welcome at the recovery party on Sunday.’
Tammy explained that while there will be no children on the special day, her three children are an exception.
“This makes people angry,” she said in the clip.

‘They think I won’t have my children at my wedding. Of course my children are at my wedding. I literally got emails from the Ny Breaking asking me to comment on the fact that my children won’t be at my wedding.’
On Tuesday, Ny Breaking Australia contacted Tammy Hembrow to ask if the “child-free” note on her invitation excluded her three children.
Tammy continued, “I just meant I don’t want other people to take their kids. Because let’s be honest: kids can be a bit stuffy.
‘I want the other adults to relax and enjoy themselves. And I have kids, I know how stressful they can be.”
Earlier this week, influencer watchdog account @influencer.updates.au shared details about the wedding and also weighed in on the wishing well and no children requests.
‘My thoughts: Not a single child has surprised me. Tammy’s three children + nieces and nephews will definitely at least be at the ceremony,” she wrote.

‘The wishing well surprised me. I didn’t know that mega-rich people would ask for money.’
She added: “The wedding website looks a bit like a shell at the moment. Maybe it will be more glamorous closer to the date.”
Despite concerns about running down the aisle, the couple told Ny Breaking Australia they are “very happy” together.
‘Awesome. Very happy. I couldn’t be happier,” they said of their shocking engagement at Glamor on the Grid in Melbourne earlier this year.
‘We’re in the middle of wedding planning. It is not too bad. I mean, I don’t have to do much, I just have to kind of sit there,” Matt added.
But Tammy said she still had “a lot of plans” for their wedding, adding: “It feels like we’ve done a lot, but there’s so much to it.”
The couple quickly started planning their wedding just weeks after getting engaged in December.
Tammy has been engaged twice before, the first time to influencer Reece Hawkins, with whom she shares son Wolf, nine, and daughter Saskia, seven.
In November 2021, the fitness guru got engaged to restaurateur and former Ironman Matt Poole. The couple split in December 2022 and share a daughter Posy, who turns two in June.
