Tammin Sursok clashes with restaurant staff after finding a ‘black hair’ in her food – so would YOU send it back?
Tammin Sursok had a run-in with a restaurant after finding a hair in her salmon and broccolini dish.
The Home And Away star, 39, took to Instagram on Saturday to express her frustration and shared a photo of the striking black hair that was on her plate.
‘Ask. (I am) having dinner at a restaurant that I will NEVER go back to, but after waiting an hour and a half for food, it comes out with huge black hair,” she wrote.
She then asked her followers if she should “send it back” or “eat it” since it took her so long to get to her table.
Tammin later shared an update, this time saying she only sent the dish back so the restaurant staff could claim it wasn’t “her of theirs.”

Enraged, Tammin pointed out that she has blonde hair, so she couldn’t be the culprit.
Tammin explained that the restaurant eventually took it back and remade the dish.
Ok, finally after they insinuated that I put my hair in the food (that’s blonde) they took it back and remade it. After 30 minutes a new one came back and at that point I lost my appetite,” she said.

Tammin also explained why she had decided not to disclose the restaurant name in the name of “health and safety.”
“35,000 people viewed the hair in the food photo within an hour and I don’t want to ruin the livelihoods of other people who work there,” she said.
Hair is mainly made up of keratin, a protein that doesn’t cause any gastrointestinal (or health) problems when eaten.

It comes after Tammin appeared on the cover of Stellar magazine and talked about turning 40 in a few weeks.
The mum-of-two said, “I’m not nervous about turning 40, I’m nervous about what that means.”
‘I think the fear of turning 40 is just that I don’t want to work less. I remember when I had my first child and they said I was no longer an ingenious – I was 29 years old.’
