Actress Tammin Sursok has criticized influencers who film themselves crying on social media, saying it’s foolish if the first thing they think to do when upset is pull out the camera.

The former Home And Away star said the only time she posted a vulnerable video of herself crying online was when she had a miscarriage, but it was because her husband was filming it.

“I think that’s the call, what would you do in that situation if someone told you that someone passed away? Are you taking out the camera? And that’s a bit of the bull subway**t, right?

The mother-of-two said she decided to post the video of her miscarriage diagnosis when she got pregnant again because she wanted others to know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

“I have never recorded myself crying and holding on, but when I had a miscarriage, my husband recorded it because we thought we were going to have good news and I cried,” she said.

“It wasn’t for the camera, but I shared it when I had my second baby because it was very traumatic for me and I wanted people to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that I was very vulnerable.”

The 39-year-old was recently filming in Canada, opening up online ahead of her trip about how difficult it is for her to be away from her husband Sean McEwen and their two children Phoenix, nine, and Lennon Bleu, four.
