Strictly Confidential follows Mia, played by CBBC star Georgia Lock, as she is drawn into a ‘world of sex, duplicity and betrayal’ as she attempts to solve the mystery surrounding the death of her best friend Rebecca near her family home in the unraveling the Caribbean.

Much has been made of Damian directing Elizabeth in her lesbian sex scenes with co-star Pear Chiravara, who at 28 is 30 years her junior.

But the model has defended his decision to direct his mother in the film’s raciest moments, revealing they didn’t even have an intimacy coordinator on set.

He emphasized that while it may seem “strange” to ordinary people, to those who grew up in the industry as the offspring of celebrities, it is routine.

Liz has explained how she ‘always promised’ Damian she would be in his first film after he ‘chased her around’ during filmmaking in his youth.

She said The Telegraph: ‘People have a bit of a twist on it. But actually it wasn’t a problem for us at all, it was just one of the seven scenes we were filming that day.

‘It seemed like a very natural progression from the relationship we’d had. As a single mother of a single child, we have spent a lot of time together as standard, even though he went to boarding school for ten years.’

Speak with The Sunday times Speaking about filming his mum’s racy scenes, Damian admitted: ‘I hate to say it felt completely normal. I don’t know what that says about us.’

“I talked to a lot of my friends who are also second-generation parents in the industry. They say exactly the same thing: that things that may seem very strange and extraordinary to outsiders have simply grown up for us in everyday life.’

Damian added that there was no need for intimacy coordinators on set, claiming that “everyone felt very comfortable.”
