Taha Sabbagh shooting: CCTV video of Elite Fight Force gym, Sefton shooting emerges
Extraordinary security camera footage shows the brutal murder of a famous driver in daylight as he drove into an MMA gym with his 12-year-old son.
Luxury car driver Taha Sabbagh, 40, was shot at least six times in his Mercedes SUV shortly after arriving at the Elite Fight Force gym in Sefton, southwest Sydney, at around 6.30am on Thursday.
Security footage from a nearby property shows a Mazda 3 lurking in the street outside the gym, before Mr. Sabbagh arrives and his son opens the gate.
About 90 seconds after Mr. Sabbagh parks his Mercedes SUV near the gym, a hooded man bursts out of the Mazda, runs towards the car and opens fire repeatedly.

Three shots are fired through the windshield and another three shots through the driver’s side.
Mr Sabbagh’s 12-year-old son can be seen in the footage wearing a red T-shirt and standing by the car as he watches in horror.
On Tuesday, Bill, Mr Sabbagh’s cousin, told Daily Mail Australia that the boy is doing well despite witnessing his father’s bloody murder.
Bill said the boy is handling the situation exceptionally and better than he can imagine other kids his age would: ‘He’s doing the best he can.
“We just tried to support him.
Brother-in-law Frank said Mr. Sabbagh’s wife was also fine given the circumstances.
However, Frank said the couple’s other two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, are still too young to understand what happened.
“We have a great community,” said Frank. “We’re just trying to stay strong.
“We just came here to support them [Mr Sabbagh’s wife and children] all and keep the kids busy and distracted.”

Mr Sabbagh is one of two members of the Elite Fight Force gym shot last week after a 29-year-old was shot by police on Sunday.
Hillal Barbour, 29, was shot by officers responding to a domestic violence call at a house in Yagoona, south-west Sydney.
While investigators are treating the two shootings as separate incidents, Daily Mail Australia can exclusively reveal – in an extraordinary co-incidence – that members of both families use the gym and are friends with the owners, Hany Sbat and Adam Omar.
Shortly after Mr Sabbagh’s death, a police source grimly warned of further carnage on the streets of a Sydney suburb.
Underworld sources told the Daily Telegraph that Mr Sabbagh may have been targeted in revenge for an incident where a jeweler was kidnapped and tortured for nearly 24 hours.
The man was not released until a ransom of approximately $10 million was paid.
In a horrifying video of the man’s abduction last October, he can be heard begging for help to be released.
“Whatever you can get from them, tell them I’ll pay them later. I will pay whatever it is please I beg you please get me out of here,” the man in the video pleaded.
Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that Mr Sabbagh was behind the kidnapping, but it is clear his murder may have served as a ‘warning signal’ to criminal gang members, some of whom train at the Elite Fight Force gym.

“Part of the crew of that gym was behind the kidnapping… this is retaliation,” an underworld source said.
“They are some of the toughest bad guys in that gym…it will happen now, these guys will get their revenge too.”
It is not suggested that the businessman, who is currently abroad, is involved in any criminal activity or the murder of Mr Sabbagh, but he is said to have links with some criminals who want revenge for him.
Paramedics desperately tried to resuscitate Mr. Sabbagh, who was often present at the MMA gym with his son. He could not be saved and died on the spot.
NSW Police Chief Inspector Danny Doherty said police believe the shooting was a ‘targeted attack’ but would investigate whether Mr Sabbagh was ‘the intended target’.
“He was not well known to the police, he was associated with some people who are well known to the police and have strong criminal activity associated with them,” he said.
Police believe at least two offenders fired the shots from a Mazda 3. The car was later found burnt out at Birrong railway station, nearby.
Superintendent Doherty said he believed the attack was isolated and confirmed the boy was unharmed.
“The people who committed this murder have no respect for human life, knowing that there was a 12-year-old boy in the car and still carrying out the execution for him,” he said.
