SZA seemingly addresses long-running BBL and plastic surgery rumors in multiple lyrics on new album

SZA appeared to respond to rumors that she had cosmetically enhanced her body in the lyrics of the new SOS album.

The Hit Different singer, 33, responded to speculation in multiple letters about the project, which came to light on Friday.

He wasted no time in coping with the talk, as he sang on the first self-titled track: “So classic, that ass is so fat, it looks natural, it’s not.”

Then later on the album, on track 15, Conceited, the Missouri-born musical artist sings, ‘I just had body surgery, no fault of mine / I just heard your opinion, I could have done without it.’

The first rumors about the body of Rihanna’s collaborator arose years ago, when she began to show a more slender figure.

Although she has not previously confirmed or denied cosmetic work, she has spoken out about body image when defending former TDE labelmate Kendrick Lamar.

SZA – real name Solána Imani Rowe – supported the rapper’s Humble lyrics that mentioned stretch marks and natural hair on women.

He came to the defense of the 2017 hit after some people criticized the lyrics for being misogynistic.

‘How is that misogyny if you are supporting a positive body image? I think that is very rare and it is reaching, ”she expressed.

“If you want to support women, you have to support all forms of women,” the artist continued.

SZA even touched on her remarkable weight loss, adding, “I used to be 200 pounds and I have stretch marks all over my body.” I find more comfort and solace with Kendrick reinforcing that I am beautiful.

“I don’t really feel anything misogynistic about it.

“I don’t try to analyze those things because I feel like if I focus on who I want to be and what I want to represent to women and what I want to represent to myself, I don’t have time to worry about how men see me,” she concluded.

On November 30, the composer shared the cover of her new album, in which she recreates one of the final images of Princess Diana.

Rowe shared the album’s release date on Instagram, along with images from the album and a clip from his song Blind.

While performing on Saturday Night Live last week, the entertainer performed the new single to a string accompaniment and a smoky stage.

SOS is the follow-up to SZA’s critically acclaimed debut album Ctrl, which was released in June 2017.

Ctrl debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 album chart and was ranked by Time as the best album of the year.
