SZA announces she’s performed her ‘last show for a while’ so she can ‘finally get my life together’

SZA announced Monday that she’s taking a short break from performing, after performing in London, Chicago and Montreal.

“Yesterday was my last show for a while,” the 34-year-old alt-R&B singer — who has 39 million social media followers — tweeted on Twitter X.

‘Finally [about] to get my life back on track thank you [you] God.’

SZA (born Solána Imani Rowe) then Posted a video of her dancing provocatively in a Montreal nightclub after her concert, where Kaytranada “played the most insane set.”

The four-time Grammy winner took on Insta story on Tuesday to give fans a hint about her plans: “Lock me in a studio on the beach ASAP.”

SZA, who suffers from ADHD and anxiety disorders, has released two singles (Saturn and Cry Baby) from her third studio album Lana, which will be released later this year by Top Dawg Entertainment and RCA Records.

The Missouri-born Jersey Girl, who is Muslim, will not perform again until November 20 in Bahrain and November 23 in the United Arab Emirates.

It’s unclear if SZA has already secured her acting role TriStar Pictures’ upcoming buddy comedy opposite Keke Palmer, whom she met while appearing on NBC’s Saturday Night Live in 2022.

The former stripper is nominated for five Moonperson trophies, including artist of the year, at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, airing Sept. 10 from UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
