Sylvia Jeffreys skips the 2024 Logie Awards as she checks in for an international flight at Sydney Airport
Sylvia Jeffreys has decided to eschew the limelight, glitz and glamour of the 2024 Logie Awards.
The 38-year-old Today Show host swapped the red carpet for the check-in terminal when she was spotted at Sydney Airport as she prepared to board an international flight on Friday.
While many of her colleagues were busy dressing up and sprucing up for the TV night of evenings, Sylvia took a more relaxed approach.
She wore a light brown sweater tucked into plain black pants.
Sylvia completed her outfit with a classic blue denim jacket and a pair of comfortable white sneakers.
For accessories, she wore a black hair elastic that she wore around her wrist and a taupe leather shoulder bag.
It appeared the TV presenter would board the plane alone, as her Sky News host, Peter Stefanovic, and her children Henry and Oscar were nowhere to be seen.
Sylvia couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she wheeled her suitcases through the airport.

It appeared she was sharing a joke with the airport staff as she smiled broadly while at the check-in counter.
The sighting comes after Sylvia recently revealed the secret to a perfect family holiday.
The Sydney mother of two shared her top tips for organising the perfect family holiday, based on her recent trip to the Gold Coast in May.
While many of her colleagues were busy sprucing up and prepping themselves for the TV night of all nights, Sylvia opted for a more relaxed approach to her trip
The TV presenter appeared to be heading for a solo flight, as her Sky News host husband Peter Stefanovic and her children Henry and Oscar were nowhere to be seen.
Writing for Nine journeys, The media personality explained how revisiting places from her childhood allowed her children to create their own special memories while also fostering a sense of tradition.
‘The 5km jog back to Surfers Paradise was fuelled by my excitement that my children were about to start building their own holiday memories in the place where I made mine,’ she wrote.
“Sometimes a good dose of the ‘good old’ is just what the doctor ordered,” she explained.
Sylvia also stressed the need to find a balance between the children’s enjoyment and the parents’ relaxation.
“A successful family vacation depends on a little reciprocity,” she admitted.
“We all know that the balance is often tipped in favor of those who are quickest to throw a tantrum. But as mothers and fathers, we need to seize the victories when we can get them.”
