Sylvester Stallone has revealed how a statue of Rocky was a deal breaker for Adele who bought his $58 million 8-bed, 12-bath LA mansion.
The hitmaker, 35, bought the eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom home last January and saddled her with a whopping $37.7 million mortgage.
Now Sylvester has revealed how a statue of his character Rocky from the 1976 American sports drama film, overlooking the massive outdoor pool, helped secure the deal.
The actor, 76, was planning to take the stoneware with her when Adele insisted she wanted it to stay with the property.
He told the Wall Street JournalShe said, “That’s not a deal. That’s going to ruin the whole deal.” She wanted the image.’

Fifteen months after buying Sylvester Beverly Park’s mansion for $58 million, Adele is tearing the massive mansion apart and making it her own.
The only part of Stallone’s property left untouched is the swimming pool, with the statue of Rocky pointing his fist at the sky at one end. It’s Stallone’s iconic pose at the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum.
But a statue of a polo player on a horse on the other side of the garden did not survive Adele’s renovation.
Stallone is an avid fan of the sport. His family has a long history with polo, as his late father Frank was a professional player in his native Italy.
The Rocky legend added that he thinks the singer has great taste. He told the publication, “I like what she does, she makes it beautiful.”
MailOnline has reached out to Adele’s representatives for comment.
Stallone had offered it for $110 million, then lowered the price to $85 million before accepting Adele’s offer of barely half its original asking price.
DailyMail.com has learned that a building permit report was filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety last July for an “alteration/repair.”

The description states that the permit is for ‘non-structural renovation of the interior into an existing KRB [single family dwelling]noting that there is “no added floor space or alteration to the footprint of the building,” nor to the “exterior of the structure.”
The mammoth construction job is being carried out by famed construction company Valle Reinis – founded by luxury builders Brian Valle and TV actor Rob Reinis, son-in-law of ‘The Fonz’ Henry Winkler – who have been featured in Elle Decor and Architectural Digest.
