‘Sophia and I were laughed at by these guys. They were the real deal,” Sistine said in the interview.
‘It was the hardest. It was about six o’clock that we were in that forest,” she added, revealing that both she and her sister were used to this kind of thing.

“And I’m not surprised that my dad put us through something like that because we grew up with him all our lives doing this kind of military-style self-defense training,” she added.
Sophia remembered her morning regimen with Sly, waking up at six in the morning for an unusual breakfast.
‘It was a strict routine. Every day at 6am he made us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination…will become bigger,” Sophia said.
Sophia added, “But then it was a lot of sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, cleans and jerks,” while Sistine joked, “He was the perfect guys.”
The training before moving to New York City will be included in season 2 of The Family Stallone, including chasing a live chicken, which Stallone himself did in a memorable training scene in Rocky II.
That’s deceptively difficult. I went in there a little cocky, no pun intended. I got beat by the chicken,” Sistine said.
The youngest of Sly and Jennifer Flavin’s three daughters, 21-year-old Scarlett, a college junior living in Miami, was not required to attend the training.
“I was so glad I wasn’t involved,” Scarlett joked, although she did discuss a memorable moment when she visited her sisters in New York.

‘The first time Sistine and I got to know the city. . . She moves on when I say: a rat… it was the size of a mini dog. We were screaming and running,” Scarlett said.
Sophia and Sistine have been living in New York City for just over a year, but that doesn’t make their father any less nervous.
‘I don’t think he’ll ever be less nervous. He’s like a classic overprotective father. Three daughters at an age where we’re, you know, everywhere and on the road,” Sistine said.
“It helps that my mom follows us through Find My Friends (app) so they know where we are,” Sophia said.
Sly also opened up about undergoing seven major surgeries after hurting his back on The Expendables.
‘I’ve done stupid things. I was directing Expendables and like an idiot I take ten, take whatever, and I remember one punch and I could even feel one punch,” he said of a scene he filmed with wrestler and actor “Stone Cold” Steve. Austin.’

“Steve knew. I never recovered from Expendables 1. Things were never physically the same after that movie. “I warned people: don’t do your own stunts,” he says.
His wife Flavin added: ‘Sly is trying to mask the pain and pretend it didn’t happen. He doesn’t like people knowing he’s had so many back surgeries.”
“It’s very scary for our family every time Sly has to have surgery because you never know. . . no one knows,” she added.
Scarlett added: ‘It’s really hard to see my dad having another painful operation. He was in pain all my childhood.’
