A bakery has been forced to remove itself from social media after a photo of its Hamas cake for a four-year-old sparked outrage.
Sydney’s Oven Bakery by Fufu shared images on Tuesday of the young boy standing next to a large cake with the Palestinian flag and Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida.
The boy wore a headscarf and an outfit similar to Ubaida’s, mimicking his pose with a finger in the air.
The masked terrorist was also pictured on a batch of cupcakes with the Palestinian flag.
Fufu’s Oven Bakery initially received praise for the cake, with commenters writing next to the hearts that the boy was “a champion” and “what a cutie mashallah.”

However, criticism soon overcame the controversial post and the bakery was forced to close its Instagram and Facebook pages.
The company is known for supplying bespoke cakes across Sydney and claims it was recently invited to cater the annual Iftar Muslim community dinner in Sydney.
Prime Minister Chris Minns described the photos as ‘horrific’.
“Hamas is an evil terrorist organization,” he said.
“Children’s parties should be innocent and fun, not hateful.”
Jewish groups have also condemned the bakery for making the cake for a children’s party.
“Dressing a child as a terrorist, including wearing what appears to be a Hamas headband, is reprehensible and a form of child abuse,” said Robert Gregory, CEO of the Australian Jewish Group. Daily telegram reported.
‘Islamic extremism and radicalization of youth are not only a problem for the Jewish community. It is a threat to all Australians.
“Australia has recently seen several incidents of Muslim youth allegedly stabbing or planning to attack other Australians.
“Indoctrination starts at a young age and is similar to what we see throughout the Middle East.”
Alex Ryvchin, co-director of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, slammed the theme, saying young boys should celebrate with Batman or Real Madrid themes.

“It takes a rare form of psychosis to want to teach young children that Hamas terrorists are to be admired and emulated,” he said.
“If this is what is happening in some Sydney homes, we need to prepare for a generation of violent extremists.
“The authorities must be aware of this incident.”
The bakery has been contacted for comment.
