Commuter chaos after a person is hit and killed by a train in western Sydney
Emergency services rushed to a station in western Sydney after reports that a person had been hit by a train.
The person was struck shortly after 7am on Tuesday at Kingswood Station, 52km west of Sydney’s CBD, 2GB reported.
A police spokesman said it was self-harm.

Blue Mountains trains have stopped running between Valley Heights and Penrith, urging commuters to be patient while replacement buses are organized.
Western Line trains are not running between St Marys and Penrith due to the incident.
A limited number of replacement buses is expected around 8:45 am.
