Sydney Thomas stuns in tight outfit at first NBA game as viral boxing ring girl enjoys VIP treatment courtside
Sydney Thomas traded the boxing ring for the basketball court on Saturday night after heading to Atlanta for her first-ever NBA game.
The beautiful ring girl, who went viral after stealing the show during last month’s controversial Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, enjoyed VIP treatment as the Atlanta Hawks took on the Miami Heat at State Farm Arena.
Accompanied by a mystery friend, Thomas, 21, was able to watch the game in luxury courtside seats courtesy of beer brand Michelob Ultra, which has a partnership with the Hawks, while wearing a form-fitting black outfit.
The team shared a photo of her courtside on social media during the game, before Thomas quoted it and said, “First NBA game” along with a check mark emoji.
Atlanta then earned a 120-110 victory over Miami thanks to a 28-point blast from Jalen Johnson. De’Andre Hunter also scored 26 points.
Thomas rose to fame working as a ring girl when Paul, 27, controversially got the better of a 58-year-old Tyson in a fight that attracted 60 million viewers on Netflix, and her popularity has continued to rise since.

The Tuscaloosa girl now has over a million followers on TikTok and almost a million on Instagram, while still studies at the University of Alabama.
She was back in boxing mode earlier this month after showing off her blue and black ring girl attire during Antonio Vargas’ bantamweight bout against Winston Guerrero in Orlando, Florida.
Thomas captioned the post: “Your favorite ring girl is back. See me back in the ring tomorrow on DAZN.”
Before that fight, she opened up about her newfound fame, claiming her number of Instagram followers had quadrupled.
“I had 220,000 on Instagram [before Paul-Tyson] and now I’m at about 800,000,” she said Most valuable promotions. “And on TikTok I had about 600,000, and now I’m at 1.1 million. So almost doubled everywhere.’
Thomas went on to credit Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions company with helping launch her career.
“Giving me the platform and opportunity to be on Netflix and also just come to events like this, I get to meet really cool people and network,” she explained.
“The doors it has opened have been enormous. Thank you very much to MVP for that, because they are the best.”
