Sydney Thomas hints she’s back on ring girl duty this weekend after stunning at Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight

Viral ring girl Sydney Thomas could be back ringside for an event in Florida on Friday for the first time since the mega-Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event last month.

Thomas used her Instagram Story to promote a card under the Most Valuable Promotions banner, which aired on DAZN in Orlando.

The card is headlined by a super featherweight fight between Wanna Walton and Erik Hanley, although Thomas probably has a bigger social media following than anyone trading punches on the ropes.

It’s been almost a month since Thomas rose to fame by holding up the round cards during Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson, which drew 60 million viewers, according to Netflix.

The 21-year-old has captured the attention afforded her as one of five ring girls for the event at AT&T Stadium and has maintained it consistently since November 15.

Should Thomas, who is from St. Louis but attends the University of Alabama, be one of the ring girls for the MVP event, it would be a short flight to Orlando from her school.

On Instagram alone, Thomas now has more than 800,000 followers, a dramatic increase since her appearance with Paul-Tyson.

Thomas has almost 17 million likes on TikTok and more than 1 million followers on the platform.

Due to her fame, Thomas posted a “get to know me” video last month to let her fans into more of her life than just as a ring girl.

“Contrary to popular belief or belief, I am actually smart,” Thomas said. ‘People kind of get the image: quite blonde, without brains. But I got a 33 on my ACT (test) in high school and I dropped out of college, so take it as you will.”

In addition to her newfound success as a ring girl, Thomas is involved in modeling and has a job with her hometown St. Louis Cardinals as part of the hype crew at the team’s stadium.

In her free time, Thomas mainly focuses on herself.

‘I’m very athletic. “I love health, wellness, fitness and anything that involves bettering yourself physically, mentally and emotionally, I’m all for it,” Thomas added. ‘I’m very driven by self-improvement and just becoming the best version of yourself.’

Four weeks after her skyrocketing popularity began, Thomas may be back doing what brought her mainstream fame.
