An irate resident has revealed how other people took over her council cleaning stash by dumping their own rubbish.
Sapir Midroni arranged for the Sydney City Council to remove the items from her home in an inner-city suburb and claims that she carefully arranged the items for their collection.
However, the council did not arrive on January 30, the date scheduled for collection.

He took the trash back to his house, but was surprised to come out the next day to find that people had thrown various items outside his house.
They had been stacked in a pile and the trash completely blocked access to his property, he claimed.
“Whoever dumped their shit in front of our front door, adding to our council cleanup pile, it stinks,” Ms Midroni wrote on social media this month.
‘Honestly, the people here are just trying to get our bond back.’
Sydney renter Sapir Midroni (pictured) took to social media to criticize people who dumped their rubbish in the City Hall collection pile: “Honestly, people here are just trying to get our voucher back,” said.
The social media post went viral with comments sympathetic to the tenant.
‘I’m sorry someone did this to you. We booked a council cleanup recently and had people add to our pile overnight,’ said one.
‘That’s so unbelievably rude!’ another wrote.
‘No one is hauling that trash far away to dump it at your doorstep. You would be pointing the finger at your neighbours,” suggested an online detective.
Midroni later updated his post to say he got into an altercation with a neighbor he believed to be the dumpster.
The budding tattoo artist said she was ‘reprimanded’ by the resident for littering on the sidewalk.
Meanwhile, Sydney City Council said it had been experiencing “significant delays” in the recovery of bulky items and illegal dumping.
“Staff absenteeism and a tight labor market are affecting service delivery, which is being exacerbated by the strike,” a council spokesman said. Yahoo News Australia.
The council said it had temporarily halted future bookings of bulky items last month so its trucks can cope with the backlog of scheduled pickups.

Ms Midroni’s bulky items had been reserved for collection despite the pause due to her “exceptional circumstances”, the spokesperson said.
Both piles will be serviced early this month, the spokesperson said.
The council told those wishing to get rid of larger items to consider selling them or giving them away to charity shops while it works to eliminate the backlog.
“If you have an outstanding bulky waste reservation, please drop off your items and they will be collected in due time,” it said on its website.
