Sydney socialite Hollie Nasser has been dealt a blow following her messy divorce with her ex-husband after she was forced to buy his luxurious home.

Details have emerged showing that Nasser is the only name on the mortgage on the former couple’s luxury terrace in the inner-city suburb of Paddington.

The three-bedroom home was purchased by the couple in 2018 with NAB financing for $2.2 million.

However, Ms. Nasser registered a mortgage from Prolend Solutions, showing a 12-month loan for $1,757,863 and her name only on the documentation.

It is understood that the loan has an interest rate of 9.99 percent per year, according to the daily telegraph property columnist Jonathan Chancellor.

Ms. Nasser shocked the city’s eastern suburbs social cabal in late 2021 when she announced she was dating Charlie Aitken, the investment banker husband of her best friend Ellie.

To further complicate matters, Mr. Aitken was in business with Mrs. Nasser’s husband, Christopher.

Mr. Nasser was a founding investor in Mr. Aitken’s investment business, Aitken Investment Management, until he stepped down as a director and investor in late 2021.

Nasser and Aitken spent several months in the so-called “love bubble” before splitting in early 2022.

The blonde beauty revealed that she put the high-profile split behind her by sharing a selfie alongside her new boyfriend on Instagram on November 19.

In the beloved photo, the mother-of-two is seen smiling as she hugged Citi bank executive James Hodgman and posed for the camera.

Ms. Nasser recently praised Christopher Nasser, revealing that the couple were working together to raise their children despite filing an AVO against her estranged husband.

‘Regarding my private life; my focus is my daughters, I have chosen not to be in a relationship,” Nasser said in a statement to Sunday Confidential.

‘Chris has always been a loving and devoted father. We are working together to be parents of our children.’

The two couples (pictured) were longtime friends and Mr. Nasser was even a director of Aitken’s wealth management company.
