One man was stabbed “multiple times” in the head, while another was hit in the shoulder after a fight with a group of men in Sydney.

Police and paramedics were called to Park Rd in Homebush, in the city’s west, around 12:35 p.m. due to reports of a fight.

One man, 48, was found with ‘significant’ stab wounds to the head, while the other man, 20, had a shoulder wound.

Two suspects, believed to be between the ages of 20 and 30, fled the scene in a Silver Volvo.

The victims ‘suffered severe bleeding from their injuries’, according to NSW Ambulance Inspector Dominic Wong.

Police initially provided first aid to the men before paramedics arrived and controlled the bleeding.

The men were taken to Westmead Hospital in serious but stable condition.

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that four people were involved in the altercation that led to the stabbings.

“Officers attached to the Auburn Police Area Command located two males suffering from stab wounds,” the spokesperson said.

One of the suspects is described as being Asian in appearance, with a slim build and wearing dark clothing.

The other is described as Asian in appearance, with a solid build, wearing a black hat and pink shoes.

“Police established a crime scene and started an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the spokesperson added.
