Sydney man dies after falling from Wollstonecraft unit hours after domestic arrest
Man falls to death while trying to access a unit where he was arrested hours earlier for a ‘domestic incident’

Just hours after being arrested at the same address for a ‘domestic incident’, a man has died after falling from a unit.
NSW police were called to the apartment on Shirley Road in Wollstonecraft on Sydney’s lower north coast at about 11pm Friday after reports of a domestic incident.
Officers spoke to a man and a woman, both aged 41, who lived with the unit before arresting the man.
He was taken to Chatswood Police Station, spoken to and released pending further inquiries.
Police were called back to the address at 6am on Saturday, with reports that the man had returned and was trying to “gain entry” to the unit.

Officers arrived on the scene and found the man lying injured on the driveway below the unit after he presumed to have fallen.
Police attempted to give first aid to the man before NSW paramedics arrived at the scene.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in critical condition.
The man died of his injuries on Saturday at 11 p.m.
Officers from the Kuring Gai Police Area Command have been assigned to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The investigation is independently reviewed and handed over to the coroner.
The coroner will determine the cause of death and make any findings about the events leading up to the man’s death.
