Horrific accident on Sydney’s M4 motorway, leaving at least three injured and major traffic delays

In a horror crash on a busy highway, several people were injured and a major traffic chaos ensued.

The three-car accident occurred on Reservoir Rd off the M4 westbound slip road at Prospect in western Sydney, prompting a major emergency response from police, ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue.

It is understood that several people were injured and rushed to hospital.

The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.

Multiple emergency services are present at a horror crash in western Sydney

The accident caused major traffic disruption on the M4.

Reservoirweg is closed in both directions.

‘Follow the instructions of emergency services and traffic controllers. Traffic in the area is very busy,” said Live Traffic Sydney warning.

‘Westbound exit from M4 to Reservoir Rd is closed, use Prospect Hwy instead. The exit in town has been closed with the diversion onto Great Western Hwy. Southbound traffic on Reservoir Rd, diverting onto M4 and northbound onto Peter Brock Dr.’

Blacktown Highway Patrol police officers have launched a police investigation into the circumstances of the crash, a spokesman told Daily Mail Australia.
