Sydney light rail out of service after ‘communications issue’ plunges network into chaos
- Light rail in Sydney temporarily out of service
- ‘Network-wide communication problem’ was blamed
Sydney’s light rail was thrown into chaos after all three services were temporarily out of service.
Transport NSW announced at around 9.30am on Tuesday that the L1, L2 and L3 lines were out of service.
The disaster was blamed on a ‘network-wide communications problem’.
Replacement buses were organized before the light rail was operational again at 10.10am.
“L1, L2 and L3 Light Rail services have resumed operations due to a network-wide communications issue,” Transport NSW said.
